This was my exhaust:

It looked much better on the floor in pieces:

Time for a shiny new Powerflow stainless steel cat back exhaust to be fitted:

This one looks much better IMO:

nice job, does it knock against the bumper at all being that close? to you think the heat will disturb the paint?

It doesnt knock over speed bumps anymore (the old one did), i can now go over speed bumps faster than 2 mph :D

The last exhaust was sitting against the bumper and always used to knock when i went over bumps and it even melted the bumper where it used to be.

I am fairly confident that the new exhaust wont damage the paint or the bumper as the gap is bigger than it looks in the photos and its quite rigid on the rubbers with little play/movement.

I have done 260 miles with the new exhaust on since saturday and everything is fine up to now :D

It sounds nice.

When you have them made, they ask how loud you want it to sound.

I asked for a quiet exhaust under normal driving conditions with a bit of growl when i floor it.

The vibrations i was having when i bought the car, dissapeared when i bought new wheels.

I put it down to one of the old wheels being buckled.

Wow that last exhuast was ugly! (looked like something from an M3)

New one looking alot better, not normally a fan of letterboxes but that does look nice,

Whats the sound of it like on the motorway?

Its extremely quiet on the motorways :D :D :D

Its one of the reasons i wanted a quiet exhaust, because the last one did my head in

As soon as you get into 5th gear, the exhaust note pretty much dissapears.

As it was a nice day yesterday, i decided to take a few photos, let me know what you think:
