its basically an electronic control module for your turbo's wastegate

compared to the normal n 75 valve the j varient retards the signal sent back to the ecu, so allows for slightly more boost (claimed) and is known for smoothing out the turbos spool up and how boost is delivered
having one fitted myself, and being the first on here to do so, so the trial, i can confirm, boost is more aggressive yet much smoother, reducing the on and off feeling of boost buildup higher on in the rev range significantly

The J valve is basically an older oem valve that doesnt react as quickly as the new valve so smooths out boost spikes and removes that hard hitting boost feeling!

Ah nice one! cheers for the info.

I think I'll look into one of these then, boost does feel like it could do with being 'smoothed' out a little bit at the mo!

Going to lower mine further when i have some spare cash those eibach springs have made hardly any difference to how it looks, although it handles better.
Need to pick some wheels too, then think will leave it there until im bored of it and have it re-mapped then!! lol

Who takes the pics of yours, you? I dont have a decent camera lol!
