I'm sure some of the X5's use 8000k. I know Porsche use high K.

They are too blue to use 4000k.. My old Focus was 4500k and was very white nothing of blue at all.

Hmm could be possible. I know 4100 k gives the biggest output of white light.

Without projectors and using a normal halogen headlightunit 8000 is way to blue. My car gives a hell lot more light than a car with projectors and similar kelvin. But the car with projector is giving much more homogene light spread in a huge beam of light.

Yes very true.

Projectors are much better for the spread of light and give a straight line look if the light is on a house/wall.

That why I want them so bad! :(

I picked up my Fabia VR/s today with OEM Xenon's, waiting till it gets really dark before I venture out to test the Xenons fully

BTW the performance of the VR/S over my 100tdi is astonishing given that there are only 13 miles on the clock. Wait till it really loosens up 8)

Why not retro the projectors from the Fabia to the Polo?

That's a possibility I guess, depends on cost.

Let us know what the xenon's are like! :P

Des what’s the weight of the Skoda VR/S compared to the new Audi A3 TDI 140 BHP? Because I had a little 'run in' with one and I was really surprised to find it could in no way leave me, I kept up really well. That was with 2800 miles on the clock.
