to reverse the 007p you just swap the pipes around the other way, i have a pd160 and panel filter but still get the cool sound, especially after a remap you really hear it. It's funny driving through town and boosting up then dumping, get some heads turning

i am also running the standard spring on stage 2, awesome said as the 007p setup as it is is still well within its limitations for safe and efficient operation

KennyPOLO_Gti - Currently on Stage 3 software....and yes on a standard DV...

not on purpose....like I said had to sell my 007p as customer needed urgently.... so i put his old one in its place.... but it works just fine ..

but I have new one arriving tomorrow.... and 3" MAF housing... and 70-80mm reducer (to connect 3" MAF to Forge TIP)....

Cos.... the extra air flow from the K04-001 maxs out the standard MAF at high boost and revs...

Just looking for some TT/S3 injectors now.. hehehe

im not sure i like the sounds of the changing round the way the dv works, as surely its designed to work the way its supposed to fit

seems a bit ... wierd, id be cautious of damaging the engine through non standard functioning of essential parts

i read somewhere it was initially designed to work that way but was reversed for quieter operation, forge can you confirm or deny that?

there's nothing in the mechanics of reversing it that can damage anything, that's for sure

KennyPOLO_Gti - so far managed to achieve approx 230BHP.. with it not completed...

need intercooler...injectors and bigger MAF so can hit 250+ bhp

putting bigger MAF on in next few days - standard one runs out of range with the K04-001 - too much air (=lots of power hehehe)

Hanz has been for a ride in it - good to see what he thinks ???

Absolute rubbish !
It can be fitted either way round, though its more efficient in the stock position, as the boost helps to push the piston upwards when you let off the throttle. If the valve is reversed, the boost pushes on the rear of the piston so it opens slightly slower. We always recommend fitting in the orientation its designed for.

i just bought a 007p from amd technik at lakeside essex. just tried it the right way round. am tempted to see what this pig noise is all about lol. so im gonna go try it backwards and see what gives. then ill probably be putting the standard one back on when i pop down VW later so hey dont know about my trickses...

hehe ah well, I'm sure it was an audi TT forum I read that on.

I tend to switch mine back and forth depending the mood I'm in as it only takes 5 mins :P

i tired that turny aroundy buiness and it didnt produce s**t :(

ok so there was a slight high pitched noise that was barely audible over my engine. maybe the dump valve has to run in or something it is brand new afterall.

if you buy a silent dump valve right...how the hell could you tell if it was broken? lol. cause now im curious...

LeMeph - Drill some 2" holes on the underside of the airbox where VW cant see them and then you hear some dumping ;-) and you get more air in too....
