HI guys,
does ayone know if the standard GTi suspension is lower than the 6n2 1.4 16v suspension?
would shocks/springs from a 1.4 6n2 fit a 6n2 GTi?
thanks

Yes. GTI suspension is lower than all other models. Its all the same fitting...just different compression in the struts and shorter springs on the GTIs

If you use longer non GTI suspension you will knock the camber and tracking (Front and back) out of true...
The ARB might get over stressed and the car will look like something out of the whacky races

Tegwin holds a valid point. Its set up for lower suspension, so it really needs to be kept with struts that are the right length

Lol yeh you can. The 6N2 has a ridiculous standard height, the car came with a parachute as standard

I heard that on the early models the parachute was just an optional extra until some owners experienced death while exiting their polo.
