Quality project..

Would love to know what gearbox mods (if any) he is doing...

And also... why on earth he has removed the ABS.... Mentalist!

i have no abs or traction on mine either...

Its a standard 6 Speed Lupo GTI gearbox, hes going to run it like that until it breaks/has the cash to upgrade it :)

I dont have ABS on mine either :P
Reason is the car is a 1.0 mk1 Seat Arosa so didn't come with ABS, no point in retro fitting it its just extra weight and complication lol

Its gonna be low to start with, he has a spare engine which he'll be rebuilding using forged internals once the monies allow (he has another secret project on the go as well :twisted: ) so to start with a decompression plate would allow perhaps 220bhp?
I think its all guess work at the minute though, as no one (as far as I know) has taken this route yet.
The Turbo is a prototype Porka unit, which was fitted to a factory track car.
The rebuild of that unit was a bit of a nightmare apparently as it was basicly a rebuild of two Turbos.
