A company in Burton upon Trent called Lime Turtle did the work for me, he normally charges about £160 to have what i have had

Thats all I needed, thankyou!

Hi Neil, first of all; Sweet looking GTi mate!

But don't you've got trouble with your wheelarches.. Like rubbing tires?!
Because i've got wide rims aswell, and they rub as a freak.

What is the ET value of your rims?

Cheers!

Hey Dutch Gti,

The wheels are ET25 and are 7.5J all round.

The tyres are 195/40/16 Toyo tyres which are slightly angled tyres.

The tyres do rub if i go down a bump in the road at speed, but generally they are ok and do not really cause me any problems.

I will eventually have the arces rolled so i can lower it more.

Really nice gti youve got there! Kinda liked the old wheels a tiny bit more but still cool.

Can you still get hold of those rear badges and do you know what diameter it is?
Mine has just fallen off when i washed it so it would be a good time to get something different!

Thanks

Hmmm... Yeah, that's what I was thinking about..
But if you roll the arches, and you want other rims or something, with a smaller ET value, it just might don't look as fancy with this rims..
And that's where i'm afraid of... Because i've seen some other rims, the Porsche GULLIDECKEL s4...
And they are SWEET!
So that's something I need to know for sure if I want to roll the arches or not, or am I getting some other rims..

I've also got some trouble with too many persons in my car..
Do you've got the same prob?!

Thanks mate!

I nearly fell over when i opened my post the other day, it was the flat caps for the borbets :)

Only took 6 months to get here

They look a lot better on the car though, a lot smoother looking.

I will get some pics at E38 this weekend
