Tim, we are talking about Haris' custom subwoofer enclosure 8)

This is one of Haris' pics:

So I'm on the lookout for a good little 10" sub and, then after foolishly selling my Alpine I'll be buying a new Alpine HU to pair with my iPod. Finally, a few months ago I bought Phil's (Scottish guy, had a red 6N2 Match with GTi engine conversion) new and unused Rainbow SLC 265 components so they need to go in too along with a decent amp too power it all!

Reasons for removing are to clean them up and tint them yellow with a removable film. Just for fun! I actually quite like how it looks without them.

Nothing new on the Polo front :(

Autumn plans are to get those fogs tinted (got some tint film lined up and just need to purchase), investigate sourcing a rear left LHD cluster to eliminate the reverse filter (eBay.de?) and sort out an amp and sub package. Maybe some new front side indicators and silvatec bulbs? Nothing terribly expensive :)

have given up on changing the wheels this year, unless something unmissable turns up. Lots of people selling RMs and RSs and the moment!!

Some 7x15 BBS RS would be perfect but I am struggling to justify spending £900 on rims!

Can anyone suggest a good amp and sub for my ICE install - I need a 10" sub and an amp to power both the sub and my Rainbow SLC265 components. No idea what to look for!

Budget is up to around £300 for the amp and anything between £50-75 for the sub, but could go up to £100 for that. Quality over quantity is the desired end result! ideally, the amp will be small enough to hide behind a rear doorcard like Haris did with his. Thanks!
