Re: VAG Com
I've heard that the only decent one is the proper one from Rosstech. Too many fakes out there that don't quite do everything. Can't help much more than that, sorry.
Re: VAG Com
Isn't VAG-COM just the computer programme? So I don't understand your question... lol

Re: VAG Com
I've got the Gendan VAG tool as well, remember it only covers ENGINE, SRS, ABS and AUTO TRANS - but it is good to have in the car - I tend to use VAG COM or VCDS as its now called for making changes or working on the cars at home. By the way, your next task will probably be to trawl the internet for a full fault code listing for VAG cars - the first four or five codes that I picked up on the Gendan scan tool were not on the list that came with the tool - but finding a proper VAG fault code list is not that harm - and it is worth doing ASAP - ie before you need it!

Brake wear light is driving me nuts. I've have new front wishbone bushes, new disks and pads and new wiring harness from pads to ecu and the light will still intermittingly come on. Is there anyone in N Wales near Colwyn Bay who can switch the indicator off.
