central convenience fuse?

Post by mikegti »

when you take the key out the ignition it should do two things:
the courtesy light should come on and also the radio should turn off ?

mine doesnt do this anymore :(
someone on ukmkiv's told me it was the central convenience fuse but I can't work out which one it is... anyone able to help?

cheers,

mike

This happened to me too...

But the dealer fixed it up (it took them MONTHS to sort it out).

I have the wiring diagrams somewhere (the technical specialist that finally fixed it gave them to me!!)... I'll have a look for them over the weekend and will let you know.

By the way, mine needed a new ignition-switch bottom (the switch bit) as well as a fuse.
