thanks Alex, just ordered one, and im just making a bracket now from pieces left over from my central locking kitalexperkins wrote:You need to try and get a bracket mounted to the strap to stop it vibrating
Also you must put a one way (towards engine) valve on the pipe coming out of the rocker cover that currently is just coiled up or you will lose a good amount of oil. You can snap the one of the factory airbox and join it in with something suitable that will fit the pipe from the engine to resolve it, or get a one way valve like i have listed below

How did you mirror polish the engine mate
?
Re: My Green 6n2 + updates - result of boredom...(pg18)
was suprisingly easy dude, use some wet n dry sandpaper, start from 400 then 800 then 1200. then get a polishing kit (http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165594)gregperkins wrote:How did you mirror polish the engine mate?
use this after you sand it down, to buff it up all nicely
or just spend a bit more time with sandpaper and go up to higher grades (1500 then 2000)
then use some autosol to clean it up and protect it.
I mirror polished the dishes of my wheels, and this was nowhere near as hard. took me about 10-15 mins with the sandpaper and then 2 mins on each block with the drill bit.

yeh give it a go, its worth it, even if you dont want to mirror polish, a bit of sanding makes it look much better/cleaner! the Air filter is sick, im wasting so much petrol to hear the roar.lol....im glad I invested in it CHEERS for that mate! hows yours?gregperkins wrote:Okay man, thanksi might give that a go
