heating noise HELP!!!

When I put my heating on I hear a LOUD noise. Sounds like metal clicking. It only happens when it goes on and its a sharp noise . What is this as it has been annoying me for bloody ages

With the air con turned on or off? Ie Auto or Econ

Just by turning the heating on. Press on........ting. Every time!!!

I know - but if you turn it to off, and press auto does the noise come on. Then turn it to econ, turn fans to off and turn it back on

Check if the noise is present in both times

If it is, then its a fault with your blower motor inside the Auto HVAC unit which is a fiddly and time consuming fix. However- it can be diagnosed with vagcom, so if its a faulty air flap it can be narrowed down quite quickly

think you have the same problem as me turn aircon on, pres the air ciruclation button then it should get rid of the noise. What i do for mine pikey fix though
