Thanks again for the comments.
Little update, over the weekend i gave the car a good wash and dry, then i polished it with meguairs ultimate compound and sealed it with tech wax.Car came up really good 8) but if forgot to take and before and after pics  lol

Ive also changed the oil and replaced the oil filter and sump plug.while i was doing that i have also removed the undertray as there is hardly any of it left because the car was run soooo low before i got it and it was just held on by the tool of gods  (zip ties) lol While i was under the car i noticed abit of an oil leak and on further inspection its coming from the rocker cover so its booked in at my local garage for a new gasket.

The horn on the car isnt working :( checked the fuses and they all seem to be ok,any ideas on what else to check would be helpfull
Thanks for reading

Probably the steering wheel push needs reconnecting

As for the rocker cover gasket, that isnt an easy change as the cambelt has to be removed in order to take the cover off due to the cam design.

Ive also taken the headunit, sub and amp out of my old golf,so will be fitting these into the polo pretty soon. :D

Had a busy saturday ,firsy of all i gave the calipers a lick of paint as they were looking abit sortry for them selves
before

After
Image

Then i put the kenwood headunit out of my golf in
Image
and the usb through to the pockt by the steering wheel
Image
Then i set about putting my sub and amp in.the amp is mounted on the back of the box
Image
Its not the best looking install but i need to be able to remove it quickly so i can fit my bmx in,so i bought a vibe fast plug which lets you split the power and remote leads easily :D so now all i have to do is unplug the two rca's and the fast plug and lift it out!
Heres a pic of the vibe plug
Image

After that i fitted a new areial gasket i got off ebay, just put it in hot water to make it more plyable then streched it over to save dropping the headling

after

Thats it for now i think, just looking forward till tuesday when the cambelts done and i can go for a drive in it lol
