If this was 5 years ago when I would say go for it but with the value of the car and the cost to do it you might as well buy a Seat cupra and tune it.

But.........If you do it then well done.

Very fair point, you can get an old Ibiza Cupra MK3 1.8T for £3000K now, thats 180bhp as standard.
The Polo is a far better car overall but I guess if you just want Power then the Ibiza would be the obvious choice

turbod polo gti would be pretty cool , was thinking this the otherday but in all honesty too much hassle for me.

also someone mentioned ibiza cupra mk3 1.8t being 180hp ! , I had one early this year til a van wrote it off for me the cupra is 156hp standard , the cupra R is 180hp but they are pretty rare tbh . Nothing a remap / exhaust system cant match though mine was 185hp with them two mods.

Yeah Cupra R - 180bhp in MK3 Ibiza whereas the standard Cupra is 156bhp
This changed with the MK4 Ibiza's though as the FR has 150bhp and the Cupra has 180bhp (Diesel 160)
