Can't say for sure but I would assume the same power as an 02j as they are very similarAgwnistikotatos wrote:As I see 02m is the only way...

These gearboxes don't come in the TFSI only the FSI which is non turbo and only around 150 bhp and the 1.9 diesel which I believe are 105 bhpAgwnistikotatos wrote:How TFSIs can handle 500+ horsepower?9N3 Turbo wrote:Can't say for sure but I would assume the same power as an 02j as they are very similarAgwnistikotatos wrote:As I see 02m is the only way...

I think, only the bellhouse is different for the 240mm clutch... Gears and axles are the same...9N3 Turbo wrote: These gearboxes don't come in the TFSI only the FSI which is non turbo and only around 150 bhp and the 1.9 diesel which I believe are 105 bhp

I would disagree as these gearboxes bolt directly to a TFSI if you change to the smaller flywheel. I know someone in the process of doing this

That they are the same except the clutch housing.

The wavetrac LSD, just came out from the oem GVZ gearbox and the crown replaced with the crown fromAgwnistikotatos wrote:This is what I say...9N3 Turbo wrote:I would disagree as these gearboxes bolt directly to a TFSI if you change to the smaller flywheel. JYJ.
Tomorrow I'm going to close the gearbox and put it on car. Any tips for installation?

Get as much bits out of the way for ease.Agwnistikotatos wrote:The wavetrac LSD, just came out from the oem GVZ gearbox and the crown replaced with the crown fromAgwnistikotatos wrote:This is what I say...9N3 Turbo wrote:I would disagree as these gearboxes bolt directly to a TFSI if you change to the smaller flywheel. When you disconnect the drive shafts take them off the car or make sure they are well out the way especially the longer one.
If you have a ramp it will be much easier but can be done without.
Hope this helps

Hi all
I have been very quite on my thread as I have been buying parts for my hybrid conversion.
So far I have the following:
3" MAF from Seat Leon Cupra R
4 bar fuel pump from Seat Leon Cupra R
JBS turbo manifold for k03/k03s
Integrated Engineering rods (19mm)
550cc injectors
Forge UNOS manual boost controller
Quaife LSD
Fidanza flywheel and Spec stage 3+ clutch
Various parts for putting the engine back together ie head gasket, head bolts, all intake and all exhaust gaskets etc.
Parts left to buy are:
Badger 5 3" turbo intake
Get diff fitted to spare 6 speed gearbox
get rods fitted to block
send turbo off for hybridising
I have done a few minor things though these being:
Removal of SAI pump, N249 and N112
Fitting Seat strut brace in black
Fitting Whiteline rear antiroll bar
Fitting my cone in a box but with a difference
(please tell me what you think of this)

Cone in a box

All comments welcome and sorry for the poor quality iPhone pics done at night

Thanks Sharbar. Appricate your comments.

looks verry verry good!
curious about the power it's going to get.
as for the cone filter in the box, it's about the best thing you can do.
the hose to an from the box aren't restrictive at all and it keeps teh heat a bit away from the cone.
verry good build up there!
(there is one restriction in the intake pipe to the airfilter box, but this can be cured with a Seat cupra D intake (or cutting it away) but everybody knows about this i guess
