ABS Light + Handbrake Light Flashing
Re: ABS Light + Handbrake Light Flashing
Yup checked the internal fuses.
I watched him do the work, he basically rewired the aftermarket harness and never messed with the actual wiring!!

Re: ABS Light + Handbrake Light Flashing
Ok I now get this:
VAG-COM Version: Release 409.1-S
Control Module Part Number: 6N0 920 904 K
Component and/or Version: KOMBIINSTRUMENT BOO V05
Software Coding: 00444
Work Shop Code: WSC 00735
1 Fault Found:
01316 - ABS Control Module
49-00 - No Communications
So any ideas on how to fix it, checked all the fuses, what else could it be, maybe the HU issue I mentioned before, can't be a coincidence or can it?

Re: ABS Light + Handbrake Light Flashing
The ABS module isnt getting any power. Try scanning the engine controller seperately, then the ABS controller seperately. Doing a full scan somtimes obscures the outcome.
Re: ABS Light + Handbrake Light Flashing
i also have this problem help?...how to fix it done the above but doesnt seem to work i havent put it on a vagcom or that to check actually what the fault is though
ABS Light + Handbrake Light Flashing
Vaccine is always first port of call mate. Could be faulty sensor or I k ow with the ABS the fuses on the battery are very common to fracture

Re: ABS Light + Handbrake Light Flashing
Mine was doing this and it turned out to be my brake light switch on the pedal box..
May be another area to check, seems odd though....

Re: ABS Light + Handbrake Light Flashing
I've come across a few with that fault, first time I tried a few things, ended up pulling the ABS ECU off the bottom of the pump and replacing it.
Solved the problem.
