Exactly... :-) ha !.

I'm contemplating giving the gym a miss and using the days natural light to fit the cards tonight as I'm in Essex all weekend, two minds... If there is one thing I love more than my car it's the gym !.

I cleaned my door panels with a wet vac mate, came up brand new when i had cloth red ones! Just find out somewhere who has one and get busy lol...

Will look much better all red. Any plans for painting the switch surrounds when there out or anything?

No I have nothing against the Superman theme mate :) nice to see something different

Have you not considered doing your headlining with a Superman theme?

I have and am watching that very same item on eBay it's not been done yet for a few reasons

1. The sunroof makes it awkward
2. If I ever come to sell it it could make it harder and sunroof head linings done come up all that often to replace it.
3. I think spraying it black may look better well classier
4. It would open the flood gates and I would want heater surrounds switches and everything royal blue... Which could prove quite costly :-/

I would love it though :-D

Yeah it must be a nightmare working around the sunroof to be honest, it would look cool though :)

Work of advice though never think about the potential future buyers when your doing stuff to you car, do whatever you want to it and enjoy it!
Its your car and do whatever you think looks best, whatever you do can be undone at the end of the day and you should never think of what other people might think.

Big Red... Doorcards and novelty items

Ha I will attempt it probably in the summer some of the bed sheets are so expensive but I think il get the roof done figure out how to take the sun blocker bit out wrap that in the same and get my visors, Jesus handles and sunglasses holder sprayed a matching blue, I think the pillars all need to be black as blue may look too much :-/ switches would also get sprayed gloss black and maybe centre grills either the blue or the black any thought on that ?.

Door cards will be fitted tomorrow whenever I get up, never even attempted to take the rears off so hoping there is no curve balls, shall also fit the sunglasses holder,

I do feel slightly privileged that I'm one of if not the only mkV that's non GTi that gets attention from the GTi guys, the actual mkV section isn't very active at all. So thank you :-).

Yeah I do see the love for this car ATM lol!

I'm thinking gloss dash bits, gloss door switches and black a b c pillars like trimmed, superman roof bedsheet job. Once you have the headlining off you can strip the sunvisors off and all the roof bits and do them like matt black or even blue depending on your roof lol.

Rear cards are easy mate. Pop the seats out in the rear and you wil see the seat latching bit, that's an amen key bolt. Then there's the black caps that pop out. 2 each side then the alarm switch drivers side and x2 philips head screws at the bottom of the panel. Easy mate, should lift up yen toward you. Make sure you hook the trim over the window bit as it will rattle like b***h. Think that's it.... :x
