Yes mate that helps alot unfortunately I wouldn't know where to start so I'd send it to the exhaust place :-p I'm planning on a sports cat too as I want to keep it legal for mot reasons.

It's still a while off yet but now I know alot more info I can start saving and once I've bought the manifold hopeful that'll get the ball rolling

No worries mate Yeah Sports CAT is the best option too IMO just to keep everything legal
De-Cat would be nice but I couldnt be doing with the hassle of finding a "Freindly/Dodgy" MOT garage

Sports CATs are pretty pricey though, expect to pay around £150-200 for a 200 cell

You want a 200 cell sports CAT because they are fully road legal and will pass an MOT.
The 100 cell sports CATs are for track use only and wont pass an MOT
