i lent my multi meter out so il get it back tomorrow and check it out thanks,

massive let down as i litterally today sorted all my audio, amped my new component front speakers (component speakers in the front of 6n2's is a ball ache  and i ran the amping wire throght the middle of the car hidden under the carpet and centre console as i only brought 6 meteres), and put my coaxial speakers into the rear to replace the standard paper cone speakers,

IT SOUNDS EPIC !!!!!!!!!!

just doesnt move very well :D

All I have is an MTX audio 12" a fli 2100 amp, two dynamated coaxial JBL GTO speakers in the rear and two amped vibe component slick's in the front obv using the vibe tweeters,

It's a ball ache because there is no entry to the car from the door so I had to cut into wires behind the head unit to amp the fronts I then ran the wires all under the centre console completely hidden then under the carpet under the rear seats and into the boot to the amp.

Big Red... URGENT HELP NEEDED !.

Post by red6n2 »

So woke up this morning booked the day off work to get the car sorted, took it took the garage which took hours because if the overheating and having to pull over for prolonged periods got there and my mate was like "dude were way to busy I can do it tomorrow". Pissed wasn't the word so got back in my car and set off, now between the 2 miles from the garage and my house which is also just one road lies my gym and BnQ, so the car overheated again so I pulled into the gym luckily I had my kit knocked out a leg sesh in an hour in that time the car had cooled down set off again noticed the temp rose very rapidly so pulled into BnQ and thought f**k it il do it myself. Now I'm ashamed to say before today I didn't actually own a socket kit so I bought this...

Image

And so I then headed on home...

... Some time and a few stops later later...

... I arrived I relaxed in my gaff for about as I'm not about to dive into a stupidly hot overheating engine,

Came out after a few hours and started to work, disconnected all the pipes with pliers, undone all 4 screws (3 10mm and 1 8mm) and pulled out after 40 mins of trying that stupid fuc#ing A clip

Image

Now it's not cause I'm weak or anything I have quite large hands and could bloody get to it properly.

Any way then it was off...

Image

And in with the new :-)

Image

Repeated the taking off process but in reverse and putting on obviously only making one difference that bloody A clip yes this one...

Image

Is now situated above the pipe and not below so it an be taken off with ease now :-). Walked to tesco and 3 bottles of coolant later took it for a test drive once it had warmed up whilst being stationery nobbed it around for 30 mins and this is all that happened

Image

Yup everything as it should !.

Took it home to let the engine cool again and to let pressure drop and the filled the latter with coolant again now its washed round, then set off for a dual carriage run bombed it up and back and this was all that happened...

Image

Yup you guessed it nothing... Everything is fine :-). I also checked under the car there are no leaks or anything so all in all a good job by me :-).

And big red is once again loved !.

If anyone ever gets this issue and has any issues the by all means pm me and il assist as best as I can.
