where did u get the bottom honeycomb grills from? been looking everywhere and cant find them, tried breaking GTIs but all of them so far have sold them already

Hello mate, I got mine from a GTi that someone was breaking on here last year sometime.. Twist the mirror do not pull. If you pull you're likely to break the screen. Anti clockwise I believe

Because if you twist it the wrong way and twist too hard then you can crack your windscreen and that's one thing you don't want!
Just make 100% your twisting it the correct way! Don't want to say one way when its the other..

Alright yea I'll hav a look or just get a garage to do it or summin, probs won't be too expensive and if anything breaks I can pin it on them haha

Think mine was anticlockwise when I put my (S3?) mirror onto it. Didn't seem to want to go the other way so narrowed down my choices a bit!
If you've got the new mirror have a look at it - it might have cut outs like light bulb holders which make it obvious which way round it goes.
