Re: My 6 Speed GTi Powered 6n2
How much roughly was the GTI conversion?
Re: My 6 Speed GTi Powered 6n2
it was not that straight forward as it was a six speed conversion with a lot of other stuff put in at the same time. the cheapest way to do the standard gti conversion is to buy a doner car then sell on what you dont want or need.SolidZeus wrote:How much roughly was the GTI conversion?

Well fitted my rear axle and renewed rear disks and pads and painted calipers up. also bought a gti splitter and mudflaps which are getting colour coded to the car. today took it to a rolling road to see what its got, as its standard apart from panel filter. was chuffed with results with 74,500 miles on it now time to play with the spare head i have, after that put Lamin-x on fogs.

Is the engine a Lupo GTI one or is it just the cover? What 6-speed box did you use?

You need more than an engine and box, A lupo gti was destroyed to build this conversion.Aquavalver wrote:Is the engine a Lupo GTI one or is it just the cover? What 6-speed box did you use?

How are the winter wheels of awesomeness getting on?
When you putting them on?

Re: My 6 Speed GTi Powered 6n2
I have got the bolts, three lips have been polished and lacquered to protect from salt, one left to do, tyres in passage just need one decent afternoon to finish last rim, then rebuild and get tyres on and fit. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
