9n3 oem shock absorbers

Post by Oobadooba »

I'm after some oem shock absorbers as mine are leaking. I think all 9n models have the same shock absorbers. Thanks.

How much would you want for the shock absorbers? As I already have lowering springs ready to go on. Could you send me the vag part numbers off them so I can double check with mine. Thanks, Danny.

Gti shocks are different to lesser models. Not just the springs.

??? not true my friend the only difference is the springs 15mm lower ride height ref the stealers ie VW.
the monroe fitment is 16451for the front no matter what polo it is from 2002 to 2010 and the rear is 23950 again no matter what polo from 2002 -2010 ie 9n and 9n3.
I have fitted many over the years the springs are the difference. You can buy heavy duty shockers which will give a firmer ride and again there is no difference for whatever model of polo be it a 9n 1.2s or a 9n3 gti all the same. Are you on the right site with your tag of rover 220?? lol
