They don't scrape as it hasn't been lowered :) I drive over speed bumps every morning and they're fine :)

Mine hasn't been lowered either but they still scrape sometimes if you're going down a country road at speed or if you go over a harsh bump etc. Mine have a few scrapes on them but nothing major :)

I love Polos on Knights, looks fab Greg. You can get two types of mudflaps, long or short, I believe the long ones scrape quite badly!

Thanks dude :)

If your careful on uneven roads/speedbumps etc, it is unlikely you will scrape them. They wouldn't have been designed by VW to scrape!

Spent the whole weekend playing about with the car!

I decided to paint my front callipers and rear drums gloss black as it looks a bit strange as standard and red wouldn't have looked right. I went for gloss black as it goes well with the knight alloys! I also polished, sealed and waxed it using my new bits I got for my Birthday. It gives a very nice deep shine 8)

My door sills finally arrived from China aswell, and i'm pleased the way they look. Look pretty OEM in my opinion!

Looking good Greg, such a nice example! I was looking at those sill plates but thought they'd look odd against silver lol, so on the look out for some genuine ones. I'm gonna get some rust proof silver paint for the drums too (don't know if it exists but I'll soon find out lol).

Havnt updated in a while! Fitted my brushed chrome ring that goes around the headlight switch earlier :) Many thanks to 'foggy69'!

Me and my brother will be fitting my DAB aerial tomorrow which involves dropping the headlining to run a wire down the left hand side to the back of the head unit :)

Not much else to report!

Couple of little updates :)

Got some rubber inserts that fit in all cup holders, door pockets and the bits next to the handbrake!

Also, gloss carbon wrapped the inside door handles :)

Will be getting a 5000k HID kit in the next month or so, but apart from that, nothing else to report!
