I can lift the box of springs haha. . .but no way in hell could I lift more than one alloy! Mine didn't come in a box they came with tyres on separated by circular cardboard and that blue plastic that you have to scissors open.
Do the springs drop over time? Maybe cus mine are just on they're higher or something.
Yeah in ratio 215's are wider and slightly bigger wall than a 205...and yeah overtime ur spring will loosen up slightly but nothing major

Yes you should get wheel alignment and steering done
Got them aligned today then realised if I put my steering wheel exactly straight that my car went right. So I've taken it back again and am waiting.
It was probably like that before it got aligned but I'm now scared that when my back wheel fell off and the car dropped on it's left axel.... That it's bent the back bar and thus even though my front are aligned the rear are causing the problem?
That's bad news and I don't really know how ill remedy that!!
Is that possible? I guess I'll know when my car is ready in 20 mins. :O
Oh wheel. Got them realigned and I still notice if I completely straighten my wheel it's going right. :(
I have a feeling this is going to be expensive. Gonna take it to a local garage this week and explain what happened and see if there's anything they can do (maybe they have an axel straightener tool LOL)
Have you tried a 4 wheel alignment pal. Its better to have the front tracked to suit the back wheels due to the fixed beam. That should solve any pulling / crabbing that the car does.
OK well I'm at a loss. Garage say theres no sign of damage, and that the Axle is one of the strongest bits of the car, and it seems fine, and the hub seems fine.
Having had the wheels aligned on saturday , and returning to them to double check. . . I can only assume they're move checked them right and I need to get someone else to do it. :S

spec:
17"
8.25J
Offset 25
Wrapped in 215/40/17
Lowered on 25/40 H&R springs
didnt rub THAT much only on wollowing bumps and hard bumps!
+it was only catching a little bit on the tyre
have you got any pictures?! this is exactly what i'm thinking of doing. found a nice set of H&R 25/40 but I don't think it will be low enough so I'm thinking towards 35/55...
although now I'm realising how wide the wheels are, 35/55 would be stupid
