Nice, that will a nice step up. My only worry with this Polo is I'll end up driving this car more than our main car!

Urano Grey, horrid. Google image urano grey golf, the colour is available on the mk7. Really flat grey, which we hated. We chose nimbus grey instead.

Just done that, yeah i see what you mean it looks dull. Not sure what colour to go for Nimbus Grey or Pure White.

Did you not find Nimbus Grey, too dark? The online config does it no favours.

Our other car is Mineral Grey which is very close to Nimbus Grey. I think it's very unstated colour, looks ok dirty or clean! Works well if you go for the rear sun protection glass.

Ok cool thank you for that.

DTD coming in at just over £3000 cheaper than list price for me, thats including the £1,000 from VW finance as well.

Now ive just got to find a dealer that may be willing to match it..

Can you let me the dealer? My dealer is turning into a nightmare, trying to force GAP and telling me 'first reg fee' is an extra.

Why waste time shopping around for a DTD match? Just order through them. You'll have to travel to a dealer your find off your own back anyway.

Ouch over £23K for a GT to my spec. The GTI is gonna be a fortune and I'll need to amputate something for the R if it is released.

Thank goodness you're not head of marketing for VW we'd all be looking for an extra £6k to buy our cars.

Think you'd better take a red pen to your options list, that will save your limbs 8)

So I have finally decided to order my car after quite some thought and researching for the best deal! I have ordered through Drive the Deal and managed to get £1988.30 off the VW list price, which is equal to roughly 11.3%. (not including the £1,000 deposit contribution from VW finance).

The car I have ordered is:

1.2TSI (110PS) SEL 3 door

Pure White
17" Mirabeau Alloy Wheels

Bi-Xenon Headlights
Mirrorlink
Electric Folding Door Mirrors
Electronic Climate Control
Front and Rear Carpet Mats

Expected delivery end of July - mid August. If the latter, I will most likely hold out until the reg change. :D

For some reason, Silk Blue on the BlueGT has been removed from the online configurator and the dealer who called me today said it had also gone from their configurator too...seems strange!
