Yeah it looks good! I spoke to the dealer today regarding my order and he said everything is sorted and ordered. But no order number yet, as there is no actual VW factory code for the Bi-Xenon headlights.. He didnt know why, I was hoping that they will be being changed to full LED haha! Should have an updated tomorrow

Looks great but we all know with VW you add about 3 inches of completely unnecessary wheel arch gap to the picture for the final product.

The New 2014 Polo (Brochure)

Just had it confirmed from VW the only model available with Xenon lights is the GTI which is coming out at the end of the year, November time. They have updated there website and Configurator as well as informing the brokers.

Configurator still allows Xenons on the BlueGT...in fact all the press up to this point has also said the xenon's with LED DRL's are available on loads of models.

I know, I said this to VW and he said its 100% going to be taken off. Im gutted really, but ill have to pick another option or get the £750 back

Does anyone know what the best thing to do regarding car mats is, I don't fancy paying £85 for them but at the same time I really need some and would like the official ones, that will look the part and properly fit.. Also do you think the new mirrorlink system and the Discover Navigation is something than can be added or installed later? What would it actually consist of parts wise or is it just a piece of software? (Sorry if this is a stupid question)

Make sure you check online deal sites first, my car mats in essence were free...in fact I paid less than book price on a standard Silk Blue BlueGT even with plenty of extras added.

I find it hard to believe the xenon's won't be available on anything but the GTi, and even the final brochures list them...ask VW on Facebook, they're pretty quick at getting back to people.

Navigation is a different head unit, so would be pretty expensive to add later I reckon...but I prefer leaving nav out. Mirrorlink I don't know about.

Yeah thats what ive done nry - ive gone through drive the deal and got it a lot cheaper than list price.. Just wondering if there is an online shop at all that does vw parts which is cheaper than getting them at manufacture, ie - regarding the £85 mats. Thanks for the info on the Navigation unit :D

Jesus Christ. Don't pay £85 for car mats. Lots of perfectly good places to get them from that are genuine and a lot less...

Here's where I get mine from. VW parts dept that sells online: Shop4Volkswagen

Cheers for that :) i also thought £85 was steep! Do you think the mats for the old shape polo will be the same as the new facelift? they should be shouldnt they?

Same floor plan so yes should be the same

As for retrofitting the nav this is almost impossible if it uses the same setup as the mk7 golf which goes deep behind the glovebox. It's not like the old rns510 style units.

Just got a build week of 24. This translates to the 9th - 15th June. Does anyone know roughly how long to expect from build to delivery?

If it's a 3 door then it will come from Spain which for me was around 4 weeks from build date to dealer. 5 door cars come from South Africa so I would expect them to be a little longer.
