Is there any other components other than the ECU and the key as a matching pair?
I only ask as I know some makes have other immobiliser boxes like transponders etc. Rovers had a 5AS box which was a separate interface between the key and the main ECU.

The 6n2 is the same
You'll need the immobiliser box under the dash too

Follow the wire from the black transponder ring around the ignition barrel
