When I ordered by R Line, I was build week 9, and took delivery on 21st March

VW's order tracker is pure trash - you should just hassle your salesman/sales manager to send you screenshots from VW's ordering system - it gives you information such as port, ship, current status etc.

I got notification that my car was in SHEERNESS and was able to track the boat it was on across to Belfast.

Haha your getting close nry. Just so you know, I collected mine 9 days after the UK arrival notification.

I've owned the car for 3 days now and it does not disappoint you will love it.. Turns a few heads as well as I'm driving to and from work haha.

I have the first full wash and 'detail' (I'm not quite fully into it all, but it'll get a good coat of sealant, seats and alloys with GTechniq stuff...) planned already

Looking forward to it, by far the fastest car I'll have owned, also the cheapest car tax one too!

I will draw the line at possibly LED DRL bulbs and the chrome tail pipe trims if they aren't already fitted for 2014, this car is strictly not to be modified!

It's manual, I figure if it does end up a long term keeper, I didn't want the possible expense of fixing the DSG and I like manual...plus DSG was rather more expensive!
