Re: Mart!n's BlueGT thread
Thought it was time for a little picture update... I'll just post a few pics I found on the old interweb.

Re: Mart!n's BlueGT thread
I "accidentally" put some new seats in the Polo today.
Here in a BlueGT / R WRC combo. Headrests and doorcards from the BlueGT on R WRC seats.

And ... what kind of seat you prefer?
I like both.

Re: Mart!n's BlueGT thread
The WRC seat is just so much nicer.
That said I still like the original seats.
But I'm pretty sure these are the only R WRC seats in a non R WRC Polo.

Re: Mart!n's BlueGT thread
Everything starts with changing seats.
Swaps the WRC engine to your BlueGT and you will have saved a lot of money.
With a couple of stickers, new ones brakes (Brembo eg), you have a WRC.
I mean that the WRC 6R must be the most expensive car on quality/price ratio in the world.

Those WRC seats look great!
I much prefer them to the Blue GT originals.
I'd like a pair of those, expensive though I guess?!

Re: Mart!n's BlueGT thread
Just a few new pictures. And a trip to the Dyno aswell.

And the trip to the dyno yesterday showed that the car has 10 more horsepower and 10 Nm of Torgue more than the 140 Hp and 250 Nm that VW claims. So I', well happy with that.
A friend had his 6C BlueGT on the dymo aswell yesterday and it "only" put out 1 more horse power and 2 more Nm than factory spec. (151 hp / 252 Nm)

Re: Mart!n's BlueGT thread
It is very easy. It comes with glue and selftapping screws.Bigtam wrote:Thanks for the reply Martin was it easy to fit can you fit it without using the glue?
I didn't use the glue. It is very well secured without it. And I have had it off twice. after I put it on. So I wouldn't advice glueing it.
it's nice to be able to remoce it if for example you have a low car and need to get on a flatbed or towtruck.
