At first it is not Plug & Play, however I think it is not hard to do because you only need to install the SET button and four cables on your WRC.
Three cables to the same points as the ESP button and a cable to ABS unit.

As in this diagram:

For coding I think it's a little more complicated, but we can try.
I think you have to do the basic settings of TPMS system into ABS unit. This is easy holding the SET button.
Also the system must be activated in the instrument cluster.

The problem is that on ABS units I have very little information and these have been updated several times for Polo 6R.

We can try, unless someone enlighten us and tell us that is not possible.
According Elsawin would be possible.
Thank you for your answer.

OK, so maybe it isn't so straightforward after all. I found some info on the TPMS for Golf mk6, and in that case TPMS can be activated with a single bit in VCDS in cars with MK60EC1 ABS controller:
http://www.vwwatercooled.com.au/forums/ ... 50164.html

According to that thread, never cars may also require a bit to be activated in the instrument cluster, as in the case for Skoda Yeti with the same ABS controller:
http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/19 ... try2300552

I don't know if the Polo has the same ABS controller though. And it is strange that the WRC didn't get TPMS from factory. Maybe it hasn't got supporting hardware. I will do an autoscan with a friend's VCDS soon. I'll try and check if I can find something useful, I'm not familiar with VCDS coding though.

cheba, perhaps this can help with your project for TPMS.

Hi ciclo!
Any idea, if a climatronic-module from a 6C will fit in a 6R? :? Just as a idea for a new mod ;)

ThueringerVR5, at the moment I have not raised this issue, first we have to look if possible Plug and Play, connectors and shape, then the dificult part... electronically...I'll take a look.
Thank you very much for the idea and sorry for the delay in the reply, lately I'm very busy.

iichel, about a different issue I will have a secret to tell you (it's in testing phase), I will contact you by email ...

ThueringerVR5, with a quick look at ETKA the first drawback is that the connectors of the control units are different from one model to another.

Bad start... :)

But that's just a small problem. Guessing 30-40 minutes will solve that.

The really problem is for example new sensors or more/fewer 'ventilation motors' (don't know what they are called that controls the ventilation)

I'm looking for the same retrofit since my climatronic is the ugly blue color and it's definitely not looking good together with RNS315.

diskoboy, you're right, but what I meant is that it is not as easy as in the Golf VI:

Pay attention between 2:27 - 2:29 min. What is that? What has he done?
:?:

Anyway I have no diagrams Polo 6C for entering the wires into the correct position in the connector ... and test if it works.

Urgently  you need to remove the old blue control unit. Black= 6R0907044F, 6R0907044H...

for example:

or
http://www.cars-equipment.com/www/en/sh ... trol-unit/
You choose.

Hey Ciclo!
Since we are talking about climatronic...

Is it possible when you change something on climatronic to show the information on the RNS 315? Some VW and Skoda cars have that, I don't know if it's possible on the Polo...

Thanks! :D

That's because those cars have full CanBus. Which the Polo doesn't.

Hey ORIOn,
Could you show us some example of a Skoda about what you're saying?

For example, the Golf 6 can do this

I'm not aware of any PQ25 cars (A1, Ibiza, Fabia, Polo) capable of this
