Nice work on fitting the carbon airbox, did you notice much of a difference after fitting it?
What work was involved to turn the battery 90 degrees?
My 1.6 tdi pushing similar power as yours, 145bhp/320nm

The responsiveness is much better, but i can't say that the power increase, i love the sound, kind of darth vader when the boost comes and you lift the padel. I have a short walk around video

I bought a VW T5 battery-holder (metall). It is too big, so i cut it smaller. With the parts i cut of i made a angle to fix the new holder. The holder has 3 fixed points. I chose the vacuum pipes into blue silcone-pipes

Tomorrow i will poste some pictures of the holder. But will made a new one of stainless steel and "nicer"

About the issue at hand, do you know this? viewtopic.php?f=10&t=54171 It is an excellent guide that has been useful in countless places, but everything evolves.
Initially you have to do the same, but I think that an easier and better way for you (IMHO) is the follows.

Two wires
- Bus_lin, from T41/10 to T28a/16 (driver's door connector)
- 12V (+15), from T41/9 to SB10b (or SB13b), put a 2Amp fuse.

- Easy and cheap:

Perhaps MF buttons 5G0959442Q (yet to be confirmed if they will work, 2 viewtopic.php?f=56&t=58703&start=1875#p504765) also be possible with this BCM 6R0937087T but in this case STALKS 6R0953507 are mandatory.


- Difficult and expensive:

Stalks
No problem for this (from 6R or T6), but it depends on the following.

BCM
You have a BCM High, and I'm afraid to operate the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel ...

... patience.
Right at this moment I am trying to figure out some adaptations and encodings, but it will take time and maybe I not get to find out.

Wow, that sounds great! Thank you very much! The plugs of the new airbag und the buttons fits on the 6R? lock together and wiring the 2 cables?

Im searching for 5G0880201J Airbags with the option "for multifunction".

To make work cruise control system on steering wheel buttons you will have to do some changes to the CCS original wiring (T41).

Yes, the same seller i saw on ebay... his location is in poland, so i think i will get the airbag for around 150€ or less incl. shipping and the wiring... ultra nice

with ccs you mean the cruise-controll-stalk? "Lenkstockhalter" in german
with the 6c-stalks i will get new problems with the cruise-controll, right? so you will do it with the oem 6r ccs?

CCS = Cruise Control System.
It's a simple exchange of wires on the connector T41... obligatory for the steering wheel you bought.
6C stalks are not possible.

Why you bought Golf GTD MFSW with white lighting?.. and cruise control on buttons? Maybe you need to spend a lot of money to make everything work as it should with that steering wheel.

That sounds good with the wire. I bought it because there is no polo GTD, so want make my own GTD. I'm looking for a Ibiza 2.0 tdi. I would like to install the 2.0 tdi in my Polo with the gearbox, mounts, and so on. in Germany aren't so many VW Freaks... Also not for engine. DarkSideDevelopments in the UK or VVT Tuning in Holland will be the aim in the way to complete my GTD.

I thought the white lights in the Steering Wheel could be a Great Solution with the GTI -Cluster, this is white too.

Only because everybody has red leds must i do this too?
I think it could be also looking nice

Hey ciclo, today i got my new steering Wheel, next week i will get the airbag.

At first i have to install the 2 new wires. After changing the stalks to "6R0953507" i install the steering Wheel und the new Airbag.

Do you think that perhaps a few buttons will work with the original BCM? Next month i will Change the bcm to complete this project.

I saw that it is possible to install the automatic high beam. Is it with the new bcm possible?
With the new steering wheel i will install the black interior from the GTI
