thanks logistix, jazzy.
leaving the "POLO" on really suggested it was a 55bhp model
i used turtle wax to finish it off. the 1.2 badge came off in 30secs.
the POLO took about 5-10 mins as it was just out the cold garage.
o yeah , just noticed that the Golf has badges there!

i hadn't put lacquer on my taillights when i spraypainted them, and the paint was slowly wearing off. so i sprayed a coat of clear lacquer but it turned out to look funny - it sort of "crystalized" the paint, probably i used something wrong.carmadaaron wrote:what happened to ur rear lights?
