no sorry, i could take a pic at the moment if only i hadn't messed up my taillights while spraying a clear coat :( i need some new ones now

go over to polo9n.com, there are plenty of debadged polos there

heres my debadged rear. ive kept my initials as i think fully smoothed is a bit plain. what do u think? :wink:

thanks logistix, jazzy.

leaving the "POLO" on really suggested it was a 55bhp model :oops:

i used turtle wax to finish it off. the 1.2 badge came off in 30secs.
the POLO took about 5-10 mins as it was just out the cold garage. :roll:


o yeah , just noticed that the Golf has badges there! :)

i hadn't put lacquer on my taillights when i spraypainted them, and the paint was slowly wearing off. so i sprayed a coat of clear lacquer but it turned out to look funny - it sort of "crystalized" the paint, probably i used something wrong.

maybe i'll go for a set of GT rear clusters now :lol:

back to this topic....

i used a hairdryer to heat up the badges and it didnt leave any sticky marks.. :D i was so surprised how clean it was. maybe its better when the car is fairly new? looks much smoother IMO now.
