I used a set of interior plastic tools like these:greypolo9n3 wrote:martin my friend...what did u use to take off rear badge? i want black and white like yours....and get me a gt/gti grill like yours!
There is a small hole in the buttom of the logo where you can start to pry it off.
(Just a couple of photo I found online. My bagde is gloss black)
The front grills (up and down) is from the GTI.

I'm sorry that you can't see the meaning of smilies in a post... If you could you would understand that it was just a "funny" comment about your Porsche logo's...Josherswilson wrote:BBS badges aren't in the correct position (if you want to be anal)
Get over it... Sorry it wasn't humor that you could understand... Jesus christ...

I was really pumped after you came over. As I was when you mentioned it here.
My friend in the white Caddy was like: "Didn't he mention my caddy? " LOL
Here's a few pics from Wörthersee.

Re: Mart!n's BlueGT thread
Though it was about time for a little update. Some may have already seen it in the "New Spoiler" thread. But thought I ought to post it here aswell.
I'm in the middle of the proces of removing the GTI/GT spoiler plus the black GT sidepieces on either side of the rear window and replacing it with a WRC spoiler.
I just picked the car up from the painter today because the glue is so hard you can't remove it where it is most stuck without tearing of the clearcoat. But furtunatly you can get away with just painting the top of the bootlid.
(The black pieces above the spoiler in this picture is the mounting adaptor under the spoiler. That is what's held on by the glue. It CANNOT be saved when removing it)
(The new WRC spoiler painted gloss black)
Just a pic of the painted top and the spoiler just held on by hand and resting on the open boot.
And some shots to compare it witht he stock GTI/GT spoiler.
And to show much further the R WRC Spoiler actually sticks out...
Polo R WRC GT look.
A friend kept saying that they need to be there. So I took these picture to show him. After seeing them he agreed with me that they look wrong with the R WRC spoiler.
(And NOOOOOO!!! They are NOT going back on!)

Re: Mart!n's BlueGT thread
I think it's awesome upgrade, the WRC spoiler is the most beautiful than I've seen. OEM.
Thank you very much for all the explanations Martin.

You noticed the cards.ciclo wrote:
It is actually the "Dead Mans Hand" which is part of the urban legend that says the cowboy Wild Bill Hiccock was killed during a poker game and that he was holding two black aces and two black eights. The last card varies from picture to picture as it is not known.
