hello iichel,
I would like to know more about this upgrade ..
there is a topic, a guide, or something?

thanks

It is very similar to OEM Xenon. You need to remove T14/14 from the OEM xenon for the cornering light. And switch T14/12 and T14/10.
Then it will work.

To me I would like to find a BCM Bit to turn on my two static cornering lights (on headlamps) when the high beams are on. ...
T14/14 >=== diode ===> T14/11
if you catch my drift :p
Take a look at diagrams VW T5.2, T6 Bixenon or leds headlights, therefore... thinking about it. Perhaps the Bit that I would like is present in Byte 21.
... and forget the diodes and weird things NOT OEM ...
I am still trying to retrofit my Polo 6R Halogen Headlights with Polo 6C full LED headlights. Still no clue.
My BCM is 6RU 937 087 M, using the T10/14 adapter from the seller everything works except DRL is not working at "0" position.
My Polo 6R does not come with Cornering Lights.
Do you think I still can manage to use my existing BCM or have to replace the BCM with the High Line?
FYI, the T10/14 adapter cable the seller sent me has external fuse cable that I installed at the battery fuse box and using 15A fuse.
Thanks in advanced for your kind help and assistance.
Hi guys!
Has anyone managed to do the retrofit for 6C? I am running halogen lamps and bought the OEM LED lights but can't manage to do the coding...they turn on but after few seconds go off...I even upgraded to the latest bcm version 6C0907089C but still no change. Could anyone give a hint?
Thanks
iichel wrote:Yes it is possible. I've done it a few weeks ago.
You will need a new BCM, a lot of wiring and some headlights. It's a lot of work, and I'm not sure they are a lot better than the OEM xenons. Nobody really knows.
