2011 SE

Post by Dan6r »

Hi all

Just want some advice, I'm looking at a multifunctional steering wheel and a RCD510 radio, will it need a load of new/re-wiring or will it just fit and work with little messing around with. As my Polo is the SE model it's as it's in the name very basic.

Any advice is good advice

Thanks

Hi mate,
RCD 510 is a 10 minute fit plug and play but MFSW needs coding.

You'll also need to make two new wires for the mfsw. There is a good guide in the DIY section.

The rcd510 will ideally need a second antenna wire for diversity AM/FM reception.
