Sure, I'm with you (always), my good and dear friend.
I told you because you have the ASSISTANS menu activated.
You did a great job when installed the Side Assist system, Hmm ... I would have preferred that you had installed the original isolation relay for the CAN lines instead of the two relays. Do you remember our email conversations?
However, it was a good idea.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
When BCM controls the can relay ? when you push the Side assist button to activate it ? , or this is automaticaly sellected above 40km/h ? then BCM set + to the can relay ?
When Side Assist working witheout correct ABS unit is not possible to brake on specified situation. So must be ABS instaled from 6C or from T5 , or T6 ?
I planned mount this set nex week , I`am on the way to collect the parts .

My set is activated by push button, but maybe you can find a set that will activate via the MFA+?

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
I think it is not necessary to connect the CAN lines to work as an indicator of lane capacity,(Stand alone can work beacose is only led indicators) but if there was an ABS pump that works with it, it would be possible to brake the vehicle in a specific situation. I wonder because ESP is still waiting (retrofit) for me or not to install a pump that Would it work if any would fit?
IIchel your set working below 40km/h ? when is activated via button ?
I wonder about the laser burning of the Side Assist logo in the mirror so as to remove the reflective layer , or mayby is plug&Play mirror insert with this logo from another car with this function.

Hi Ciclo,
I'm from Singapore (we drive on the same side as the British) and after reading your posts I have embarked on the project to retrofit xenon headlamps to my Polo GTI 6R that came with halogen headlamps. I have the BCM High p/n: 6R0 937 087 H.
I have purchased from Kufentec:
1) xenon adaptors: https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/volkswag ... vw-polo-6r
2) Autoleveling kit: https://www.kufatec.de/shop/en/volkswag ... vw-polo-6r
I have purchased separately the following:
3) Xenon headlamps with cornering lamps
4) BCM Max p/n:7E0937090B
5) Ballasts for xenon headlamps
I have already received the Kufentec merchandise and have started installing the xenon adaptor kit.
BCM Max has not arrived yet.
Together with the headlights, I will also replace my GTI bumper with the original Polo R bumper. So my final setup is without foglights and I'm looking to replace my switch as well.
My question is:
For the xenon headlights to work perfectly i.e. high beam works without low beam on, DRL dims with signal etc, do I need customized harness that you used to make?
I understand that you have stopped producing harnesses.
Thanks for your assistance!

I think the Kufatec xenon adapter harness is already good for the headlights. You just need the wiring for BCM Max

Thanks Ciclo and iichel,
I will open a new topic as soon as I take the pics.

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Glad to see you here
. Have you installed the Bixenon? and Light Assist?
Re: New Member. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Hi Ciclo,
First, Congratulations for you Polo, amazing car!
Well, see if you can help me.
I own a Beetle 2.0T TSI with 06R 937 088F BCM
I wanna to install footwell lights (front and rear, but mostly in front) but i don't know if it is supported by that BCM and where to Pin it.
Do you have that information ? I saw in you post about rear positions (positive 65A and negative 4A, right?), but how about front lights ?
Hope you can help me
(sorry about my english, i'm from Brazil)
Thank you

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Yeah. the wiring ready. Just got my hands on the original bixenon. its 2nd hand without the ballast and xenon which i need to buy soon. The china replica for my testing last time works fine except the quality of light distribution really bad.ciclo wrote:Glad to see you here. Have you installed the Bixenon? and Light Assist?
On the light assist, No way i can proceed with that coz im still searching for the highline cluster and learning proper tool to do the swap. worst case now, no more new cluster from aliexpress. i’m stuck there for now. [emoji27][emoji17]

Hi Fabio_89, welcome.
I hope you understand the following diagram:

My recomendation.
- Uses LED lamps.
- Connect to any point on the indicated wires (never near of the BCM connectors). The challenge to overcome is that these two wires are the same color for the Beetles.
The reference to follow are the pins of the dome lights.
In this way, by connecting the power to the wire going to T73a/65 and ground to the wire going to T73a/4 your footwell lights will work when opening the door.
The diagram is from the Beetle. (except my horrible sketch)
