more scans is always better :)

don't forget the headlight washer reservoir level sensor, it's one wire to the instrument cluster. it's a nice addition and you'll have it anyway if you buy the SRA reservoir + pump

i think the step-by-step approach makes sense to some extend, but maybe it's good to transfer all the cables from the cabin to the engine bay in one go.

in your case:
6 wires for LED headlight: 2x (T14/10, /12 and /14)
8 wires for ALWR: 2x (T14/1 /2 /3 and /4)
1 wire for SRA
1 wire for level sensor
----+
16 wires

maybe make it a bit more if you ever plan to install heated windscreen, heated washer jets etc etc.

Hmm. If I'm ever going to do a heated windscreen I'm going for HBA aswell. :lol:
This is not on my list currently, but when I have to replace the windshield, this becomes interesting.

6C Full headlights, with automatic height adjustment. With help from iichel ofcourse.
Also a OEM alarm will be fitted. If those two things are finished, I'll be looking into fitting R-Line bumpers and maybe headlight washer units, not sure about the latter.

Hello!

I managed to get a R-Line bumper for my beloved red Polo, which I fitted last week. Here are some pictures.

I installed the LED headlights and cabling with help from iichel, many thanks to him. I've run into some issues though. The DRL's are not working and high beams only work when pulling the stalk on the left side. Included is an autoscan. I've been told it has to do with the auto light switch iichel has fitted. I haven't had the time to retrofit the AFS module, I will be doing this, don't worry.

I meant the coding that Turbodruk now has in his BCM. it's based on a 4-door model with high beam assist/return-to-center stalks. ;)

I've used the coding ciclo gave me, and the high beam and low beam work without hiccups! Truly amazing!
The DRL's are not working yet, not sure why, because there's zero faults in the autoscan.

Are you sure your BCM 7E0 is for T6 with LED headlights?

However, you should check the DRLs with the hand brake DOWN... :?: ...your BCM is coded so that the DRLs OFF when the handbrake is UP.

I also have the solution to the DRLs problem, but I am waiting for the reply to my suggestion regarding the handbrake.

It may be necessary to add a 0.5mm2 wire from the auto lights wiring -made by iichel for you- to the BCM, from the coupling linking the new automatic light switch (T10/9) to the BCM T73b/29.

By the way iichel, please post here your diagram for auto lights wiring you sell.

I explain you:

This is your original connector, without wire (3) for the DRLs signal, this is because the Bluemotion with BCMs 6R0/7H0 use another signal due to the Start/Stop system.

The new BCMs 7E0 are parameterized in a different way, and this signal can be one of the parameters that were changed. Unknown to me and to most mortals. :lol:

I am convinced that adding this wire your DRLs will work, taking into account that the rest of the electrical installation for the DRLs is correct (from the BCM to the LED headlights) and that your BCM supports LED headlights. :wink:

Hi Fernando, I take the exact diagram as in your PDF for the auto light installation. I can confirm T17/3 is not wired in Turbodruks car.
I'm not sure whether the position lights are working in his car (DRL led in lower brightness).
In my Polo Bluemotion, the T17/3 wire is also not present but the LED DRL always worked well, both with bi-xenon and LED headlights.
