Clutch adjustment

Post by gjperth »

hi

Can anyone give me some guidance on clutch cable adjustment on a 1.2. Have recently had this car passed on for my daughter to learn on. Clutch seems to bite quite high, not a problem for me but seems to make it harder for a learner. Not sure if this is normal or whether I need to make adjustments or is it is self adjusting?

Can anyone advise?

thanks

I'd think that all 9N Polos have a hydraulic clutch, so no adjustment provided.

Thanks for your comments.

You are correct - what i thought was the clutch cable with an adjuster was, when i got my daughter to press the clutch, was the gear linkage!!

Oops! Feel a bit of a fool now!
