Exactly, you need the battery voltage requirement at a level that the car can't achieve.
You think I haven’t tried? It is not possible to increase it to 16V or any other. I tried everything from 12V to 20V

The car's battery can hold a voltage of around 13.5v when fully charged. Any less than that stop start can kick in if the battery charge allows it and other factors do too (ambient temp, oil/water temp, how many ancillaries are on etc.).

Mine hardly ever has enough charge to activate in the Winter with my dashcam set on. Her a dashcam, or get in to the routine of turning stop-start off on every journey.

Plenty of people manage to do what you're trying to do with VCDS - Maybe it's an OBD11 functionality thing?

It's normal, it's the alternator voltage to charge the battery

Re stop/start, you may find parameters for minimum and maximum ambient temperatures, default values (for both) are -50C (for 2020 Polo), range is -50C to +50C, if you change both to say +40C then this may disable it? but not sure because having two values is a bit conflicting I think.

But with the OBDEleven you can’t change ambient temperatures. Maybe it is possible with a VCDS device

Has anyone reached activate the OEM alarm from factory??

It is suppose to be activated with OBDEleven following these steps, but I tried and it doesn't works..

1. Go to Module 09 - Electronic control unit
2. Enter Encoding (press up to the right, Bytes mode)
3. Go to Byte 12
4. Activate Bit 0
5. Confirm (V), code 31347
6. Go back, to Adaptation, same module
7. Enter anti-theft device
8. in DWA Alarmverzoegerung, change value to "Driver door contact thatcham"
9. in DWA Camper Modus, change value to "On"
10. in Ueberwachung Innenentriegelungshebel, change value to "On"
11. (optional) in Sirenen Alarmzahl, put the number of times it will beep when the alarm goes off, you can put 1 or 10, by default it is already 10.
12. in Akustischer Alarm Signalhorn, change value to "On"
13. in Diebstahlwarnanlage, change value to "On"
14. Confirm, code 31347

I didn't know there this thread till googling something else.

I tried to set DRLs off with handbrake via the OBDEleven credits app but said not supported when I got there (despite having DRLs..) your Polo may be different.. however if you try long coding and get into the electronics section 09

you find the list in populated largely in German..

however:
Search - tagfahrlicht Dauerfahrlicht bei Handbremse abschalten
Daytime running lights Switch off continuous running lights with handbrake

then select on or off
