Central locking and key 6R0 937 087 F

Post by amer6R »

Hi guys, do you know do all polos 6r come as standard with central locking?
I have a standard key ( not a flip one)
My car has 4x el windows and my car also has a lock unlock switch on the drivers door cart.

I have bought a replacement flip key 434 mhz.
Do you know what is the procedure for pairing a new key ( just lock and unlock buttons) ?
Can i try it via VCDS cuz its UDS

Or does the polo 6r use 433 mhz key?

You should have the coding correct for central locking with remote (i.e. byte 1, 3, 7)

Remote matching (not immo, but remote locking): http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... rol_Module
You cannot use they used key to start your car, unless you program the immobiliser OR move the immi chip to the new key. This is compleys and I'm not an expert.
I'd recommend to read all info carefully.

Guys,
Today i tried to adapt the key ( ok immo i transfered chip)

When I try to change the value of keys from 0 to 1 and test it still remains at 0. It doest want to accept it.

In coding central locking was already checked.

I have a cobra alarm fitted it also has central locking, maybe its blocking it or what?

Your BCM should be perfectly capable of central locking via key fob, no problem.

Maybe the cobra alarm is interfering, central locking works via cobra key fob

can you maybe tell me, cause i wasn't really tinkering in VCDS can i maybe enable the hill assist my ABS module is:

I don't know if ABS8.2 can do hill hold control. Try this coding: 200200E3006D00B3042A00EA00D600000200
Perhaps it enables HHC, perhaps it enables TPMS. I don't know.

I've been reading thru the forum now im completely confused:
firegrafik wrote: Mon Sep 26, 2016 7:31 am There are two versions of the brakes control units. Bosch 8,2 and Bosch 9,0.
Bosch8,2 came for cars up to 06.2012 year.
Bosch9,0 came for cars since 06.2012 year.

The versions has some differences in socket wiring and codings:
There is possible to retrofit ESP9.0 instead of ESP8.2.
Some guys in Russia retrofit ESP9.0 instead of ABS8.2.
But I am not sure is the 8.2 could be retrofitted instead of 9.0 because of possible incompatibility with wheels sensors.

Here is information which I collected and systematized concerning Polo's ABS with ESP coding calculating. The sourses were Polo hatches an polo sedans in Russia. extra Skoda Fabia
For simple ABS this could be helpful also, but as a rule some bytes in simple ABS have values 00

They key still doesn't want to work: I hold the unlock button for few seconds VCDS seems to become unresponsive but still 0 keys. New value wont accept nothing than "0" , Test : 0, Save, unlock on keyfob nothing... :\

Can i remote match via ODIS?

Update, Only ABS 8.2i and higher supports HHA
I found a calculator, i generated long coding starting with 21 - my ABS module didnt accept

Today i scanned the car again got this fault:

01179 - Incorrect Key Proggraming
-Im not sure if this popped up when i tried the non immo key in the car

I was digging in long coding:
bit Remote control inactive was checked - I unchecked it - Tried the procedure again - no luck

Is there a way to enable PRL, so my low beams are allways on when i turn my car on, and off when i turn it off?

Could someone check this old coding for BCM (09), and adapt it for central locking?

Hill hold is already activated

Try this for your BCM please

Your coding my BCM didnt want to accept. But finally i got it to work and i paired my key and everything works!
Tomorrow i will post a video od overview for coding for BCM and coding for this F module. Maybe it will help someone else.

Again my ABS wont accept the coding, only ABS 8.2i supports hill assist.
My abs is 8.2, i dont need HHA , but it is a neat feature.

Re: Central locking and key 6R0 937 087 F

Post by amer6R »

Hi guys,
I will sum up this topic. Central locking can be activated on BCM 6R0 937 087 F.
My car came from factory with this key:Image

I wanted to have central locking, so i bought a flip remote key ( 5K0837202AD ):
Link for buying the key -Aliexpress - Excellent quality
434 mhz
id48
blade type HAA
- Get your blade cut, and program the immo chip inside of the key or transfer the old one.

Next programing the BCM module, since the car came without Central Locking this option was disabled via coding by dealer ( i guess cost saving)
Old coding:

Part No SW: 6R0 937 087 F HW: 6R0 937 087
Component: BCM PQ25 H+4 H46 0221
Revision: BF046001 Serial number: 0345 245100816
Coding: 6CB02BBF08210048003006007D2B0C900000410F60860000200000000000
Shop #: WSC 00387 618 55704
VCID: 408FF507D383CA4FE7-8014

Since I want to make this tutorial a bit universal i made a video of every checked bits(box) for central locking, you cal also copy my coding from the video if you have the same module 6R0 937 087 F . You are interested in "central" bits and comfort functions if you want to oper or close your doors via key fob. Copying coding from other versions of module is not compatible.

6CB02FBF08210040003006807D2B0C900000411F60860000200000000000

Okay, now when we have our BCM coded out, we need to start remote key matching procedure. So go to 09- Central eletronics -> Adaptations
Follow the procedure like in video:

I had an issue where i input the value of new keys ( New value) and i test it it becomes 0, and you cant save. So just add 0, test, save -> Then Hold the unlock button for 1-2s and your car will give your a notification via blinker that the key is paired.
