Michael did you code the ECU with VCDS or you needed a different software/cable?

If I open 01 engine there are 2 buttons: one is called coding or coding I (don't remember) and the other one is called coding II. If I open the first one I can access the long coding helper but there is not any byte description so I do not know what I'm actually modifying while if I open the second one it asks me for a security code so I can't actually access to it. Is that normal?

Unfortunatelly the situation is not quite good here in Italy because as you know we are all forced to stay at home to pervent new contagious but I'm try to keep my mind busy.
Forced?
I guess you wanted to say that you stay home of your own free will because you are a smart guy and that your present/future welfare state depends entirely on it.

In Spain we are in a similar situation.
The key word is neatness in all behaviors.

I wish the best of luck to Italy, Europe and the whole world, my heart is with you all.😘

Of course I do of my own will, I just leave home to go working in these days because subways are still working, but trust me If I tell you some people must be litteraly forced because don't understand how bad is situation and continue going out.

Anyway I am sure everything will be fine If we all cooperate. Take care of you my friend!

Non mollare, no no no
Non mollare, non mi arrenderò
Non mollare, no no no
E oh sì, sto correndo e ne ho appena abbastanza
E uh-oh, ho ...

Since you are going to disassemble the brake system pipes you can take advantage to completely renew the brake fluid, you will need at least 2 liters of fluid to renew/bleed the entire brake system (and clutch).

In case you have trouble coding when you change the rear brake calipers here are a lot of people who can help you fix it.
e.g. iichel, firegrafik, or Jay-Jay.

1.4 TDI 90hp = 256mm front discs, 232mm rear discs
1.4 TDI 105hp = 288mm front discs, 232mm rear discs
1.6 TDI 75hp = 256mm front discs, 200mm rear drums
1.6 TDI 90hp = 256mm front discs, 232mm rear discs
1.6 TDI 105hp = 288mm front discs, 232mm rear discs

1.0 MPI 75hp = 256mm front discs, 200mm rear drums
1.4 MPI 86hp = 256mm front discs, 200mm rear drums (in some occasions 232mm rear discs, I don't know why. There is one known occasion with blue WRC brakes)
1.2 TSI 90hp = 256mm front discs, 232mm rear discs
1.2 TSI 105hp = 288mm front discs, 232mm rear discs
1.4 TSI 140hp/150hp = 288mm front discs, 232mm rear discs (= Polo BlueGT ACT)

2.0 TSI 220hp CDLJ = 312mm front discs, 256mm rear discs (= Polo 6R R WRC)

Your new ABS coding will be:

for 256mm front discs and 232mm rear discs

RLS as arrived from Aliexpress (brand new). Look how much dirt on it!

I'm looking for some way to clean it considering sensors surface is very delicate.

Elsawin suggestion (google translated):

"If the surface of the coupling gasket of the rain and light detection sensor -G397- is dirty, it must be cleaned by "gluing" and then "removing" one or more strips of adhesive tape."

Tomorrow I'll try.
