Does anyone think this virus will cause ports to shut or delay importation?

Here in Greece in Thursday the dealers will be closed. I think production factories will follow.AnthonyH89 wrote:Does anyone think this virus will cause ports to shut or delay importation?

My car has been built and is now in transit. So I assume on the ship as we speak. Just worried it might be delayed getting into the UK.

Re: Covid-19
Some car manufacturers are already closing factories because of reduced demand, and supply chain issues.

As far as port activity is concerned - the main Covid-19 risk is from the movement of people, so maybe there won’t be a significant impact - if any - on the movement of goods. If goods are affected, then I dare say the priority will be to maintain food and medical imports / exports.
