Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
I don't think it's possible to code the abs for a CBA engine since it was never sold on the PQ25 chassis
Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
I think it only needs coding for auto transmision, because when i put manual CBAB ECU i don t have dtc.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Out of curiosity, how did you manage to make a Passat PQ35 ECU work in a PQ25 car? Is it difficult or is it only a matter of writing the VIN?
And did you need to modify anything to modify the DQ250 DSG6 gearbox into the fabia chassis?

It is very interesting to learn how to use the VAS and the programs that make it work. Without a doubt, it is worth having.
There are people who used other very well-known diagnostic tools and now only use the VAS.
---
VCDS, VCP and VAS are essential for me.
There are very powerful reasons to have each of them.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Hello Guys,
i am working on a brake upgrade on my Polo 6R BlueGT.
The change to 310mm Discs is easy, the coding isn´t...
Did anyone know that in other VAG models you have to change the pins on the ABS Conector to make a new coding possible?
I don´t have the access to the right wiring diagram to verify this idea but i think it´s possible that we have to change some pins too.
greetings from Germany

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
If you keep the same ABS pump, in your case it will be the 6R0 ESP9.0i, you don't need to change any wiring.
Just change byte 2 to 68 AND byte 10 to 16, see if it takes.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Was afraid so. Most codes for wheel size like GTI or WRC are only accepted in combination with the correct engine (CAVE, CTHE, CDLJ)

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
well, yes, it is certainly possible, this what you need to do:
remove your abs9.0 pump
re-arrange the wires in the plug as needed
fit esp9.0i pump
bleed brakes
fit 6r0 slip ring with steering angle sensor
wire the steering angle sensor
place ESP disable button and wire it up
code the ESP pump
calibrate steering angle sensor
now you have a fully functional ESP system, as if it were from factory

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
Ah, sounds a little bit complicated, I'll order parts and start trying once I got the time to do so.

I cant belive that vw fockers didnt include esp as standard in 6C, im shocked that they didnt put front el. Windows as an option.

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
2015 polo in asia (malaysia, china, russia, india) is pq25 = polo 6R, but with some items from the polo 6c like bumpers, power steering etc.
