Just watched a YT video.. 5 things you didn't know about your VW and OMG!
I went and filled up the tank yesterday and as usual (because I didn't know any better) left the cap like this.
When in fact there is a place to put it and there is a plastic pin (25mm long?) on the end of the cap to fit in the hole in the Flap
and fitted properly....
You may be already doing this but, Oh well, better late than never.. LOL

your level-up in skills will occur when you mount your fuel tank cap in the filler in such a way that you can fuel up hands-free.
(don't try this at home)

@grazuncle2; every day’s a school day
. I always use the filler cap holder when I get petrol as it stops potential damage to the paintwork if the cap’s left dangling against the bodywork.
Maybe we should start a discussion thread on ‘things you’ve only just found out about your car’
