Thank you! I still cannot access erWin, including through a VPN to the Netherlands. I will have to forget the credits that I purchased and try the US erWin website. Will the US site list the Polo?

Link: erwin.vw.com

Would you mind checking the torque specifications for the nuts (N02300311 - POS=2 on the photo you sent previously) that secure the handbrake? I would really appreciate that.

I don't know if the US erWin site will include the Polo.

Thank you very much! I’ve contacted VW support again. Hopefully they will be able to provide some advice as to why erWin isn’t working. I suspect their CDN protection software is blocking Aussie IPs (because I get the same error 403 across multiple internet connections). I should try creating a new account to see if it is something tied to my login information.

You could use a free alternative, for sure it isn't updated or detailed as erWin but it can help

I finally got into erWin! The support person told me that using special characters in the password can cause a 403 error, even though they say using special characters is fine. This was the issue and changing my password fixed it for me. I almost want to create a seperate PSA post for anyone that may be experiencing the same issue.

One thing that I would have liked to have figured out is how to download the manuals. I was printing them page by page then saving as a PDF. This was so slow though. Is there a way to print/download a whole section at a time? I’d really love to know this so I can download copies of everything!

Would you mind to tell me the torque spec for the battery terminals as well Ciclo? I would have checked in erWin, but my purchased time ran out and I couldn’t figure out how to mass-download the PDFs of course (although I manually downloaded around 25 or so from the service manual, but they tend to redirect to other parts of erWin that I haven’t downloaded).

I don't know what to recommend about erWin, first download and save all the PDF documents on your device, it is not necessary to print them at the time of download, I suppose printing can slow down your device. It seems that you are not doing something right to download the full document...🤷‍♂️

The torque of the battery terminal nuts is 5 +/- 1 Nm, that is, 6 Nm.

Example that can be useful for all batteries depending on the engine, etc...

In some vehicles it is indicated on the terminals...

Thanks you!

Re erWin, I must be missing the download button somewhere. To me, the only way that I could see to download the document is to press print (the button near the top left), then save it from the pop up window. Which button do you press to download it? That’s all fine, but one can only download one document at a time. There are hundreds of documents under different subsections. It would take me a whole day of downloading each document individually to get everything. Is there a way to download groups on documents at once?

Click download... in my case downloading a single PDF document takes no more than 2 seconds (most is ipso facto).

The download must be done one by one, there is no button for everyone at the same time...

To update some documents, yesterday I downloaded all the PDF documents of the following models and their variants in less than 50 minutes.

Including yours and others that due to some questions on the forum I was unable to study/share.

I’m pulling my hair out trying to download the manuals

I was launching the erWin application and trying to download them in there:

I do not think doing this is correct.

I really feel silly that I can’t find the download page. Can you please show me exactly how you go from logging into erWin to getting to the download page? I have just paid for another hour of credit and haven’t been able to make any progress in downloading them.

I’m in the process of removing the centre plastic trim from the car. However, I cannot remove the large bit of plastic that goes from the rear cup holder to the front cup holder:

There appears to be something holding it down in this rough area:

I have removed the following:

I cannot find these to remove (I screen shorted this from erWin when I had access for an hour):

I’m not sure what I have missed but I ran out of daylight so I will continue tomorrow morning. I’d love to have the full manual downloaded because it would make this so much easier! Also I can stop asking you for the torque ratings for things

When clicking “individual vehicle information” -> “repair information” whilst being logged in with credit on my account I get this error:

I have tried two computers with different web browsers. I get it when trying to access quite a few sections on erWin. I’ll have to contact erWin support but they took a week to get back to me last time. I’ve not spent around $30AUD on this  I am going to see if they will refund me.

- All PDF documents (111_1.7GB-approx) currently available for 6R and 6C.
- Request permission to download, the owner will consider granting permission. Please leave an 'identifying' note in the request. Be patient.
- Better if you have a Gmail account.
- They are not ordered. You will have to spend some time sorting them later. Some look the same but are not.
- The download will take a few minutes (5-10).
- "Free"... of viruses.

Please, once downloaded, let me know here. THANK YOU!
