'Littelfuse' is an excellent brand of fuses, which is the standard in VW Group vehicles.
I don't think the cost of a fuse is a problem for anyone's wallet, it is 100% worth it to buy a good brand of fuses. In these things it is better not to save money now to regret it later because for example the windshield wiper system or any other driving assistance system does not work in adverse weather or traffic conditions.
The fuse, a simple but ingenious device that is 'still' very effective.

Re: Screen washer and front wiper failure
When I did my RLS and Emblem reverse camera retrofitted, I've decided to connect power directly to the fusebox using factory fuse location for those retrofit, I brought myself a secondhand fuse box to practice on since I'm newbie and clueless
One side benefit is that now I've a set of spare fuses and relays for my car.

Great idea.
I also did it to carefully study the interior fusebox for my wife's Golf.

If someone needs to buy a lot of fuses or electrical components, TME (Poland) sells high quality products at very reasonable prices. Deliveries usually take no more than three days. I have used this store for many years and everything is as it should be or better.
