all side lights and tail lights out

Lighting fault indicator came on this morning. Got out to check: both side lights out and both tail lights out. Number plate lights working. Also what sounds like a relay clicking below the steering wheel. Where do I start? Fuse?

Just noticed interior lights are not coming on either. Weird.

Have a look at the fuses

Thanks iichel, that was it. Lights are controlled by a module fed by one fuse. If that blows you lose half your lights. Replaced it and cleared fault codes and all is good. Although, having said that, a 10A fuse doesn't blow for no reason.

That is the next question. Did you install any LEDs? Water ingress?

No LEDs. No water ingress. One of the rear interior festoons had failed. Would that cause it? Surely not.

Sounds unlikely but then again, might be a smoking gun.
