I assembled all four locks (front and rear) and test fitted one

Completed the bi TDI / RS3 air filter install on 2.0 TSI.

As a base, I used the OEM air filter for the RS3 (air box, air guide from the grille). That didn't fit to the 70mm turbo intake, the Audi hose was 90mm from the airbox to 80mm for the turbo intake.
Used an 80mm ventilation adapter, aliexpress 80-70mm reducer and an adapter from an Audi 3.0 V6.

That all fits like a charm, clears the brake reservoir and looks reaaallly clean. Some happy intake sounds, but not as extreme as the R600 I had before.

It makes sense, and on the other hand, the engine compartment looks very good in every way (cleanliness, etc.).
Small improvements with extensive functionality, ...thanks for such detailed images and information!

We want more, ...when possible, you should enlighten us with some kind of futuristic presentation...

I see I haven't updated you in a while, and I'm very sorry for that...

What I did in the meantime is actually quite a lot.

I retrofitted the IQ rear lights from the facelift B8.5 --> https://www.instagram.com/iichel89/reel/DO9AKp3DNT4/


It was actually a full day of work, given that I wanted to do it full OEM, so...
- All wires in the BCM on the correct spot
- All wires in the T10 coupling points (3) between the tailgate and the car in the correct spot

It was a lot of studying the wiring diagrams and autoscans but the result was pretty damn good!

In fact, I liked it so much, I've bought the B8.5 IQ front lights too!



- Left and right headlights
- 992 control modules
- 3Q0... E/F AFS computer
- 14 to 14 pin adapters
- Facelift front grille

I'm yet to study the exact retrofit steps but I'm sure it will work out with my 2024 5Q1 BCM

Suspension wise, I bought four new Monroe shocks, SKF wheel bearings, Audi TT 8S front wishbones (lower control arms) and H&R stabiliser bars
The 8S0 lower control arms are 1:1 swap for a Passat/Tiguan (3Q0 arms. The 5Q0 arms of the Golf are narrower.





Last but not least, I installed the 17G rear climate panel from the chinese Magotan, and it actually involved swapping the entire center tunnel



But the result is pretty damn nice!

Sorry for a long silence, I just feel like I'm talking to myself here but I'll summarize what I've done over the winter:

- lots of nothing
- fitted a rear boot cover in chrome as part of the already retrofitted Boot Management System (PR 3GN) 3G9863459D
- Installed an ethanol sensor that works natively to the Simos ECU
- Installed a TDI fuel filter on a TSI engine
- Retrofitted Audi Magnetic ride to my Passat
