what sometimes helps is turning on the ignition while you hold down some buttons on the right side like up/down, ok, scroll left/right
what makes it more difficult is your skoda instrument cluster that might just not fully work with a VW MFSW

I have one from Rapid with these numbers: 5JA920840E

I'm just wondering why the buttons are copied up and down, just like in the stalk, but it doesn't work like the multifunction steering wheel.

If it's your case... It's not compatible to have the MFA buttons on both sides at the same time (MFSW - Stalks). They lock until the ig switch is turned on again.... I don't even know where I wrote that long time ago.
I imagine Slavik already told you that, right?
Slavik's 'CCE' emulator is one of those wonderful achievements that I recommend to everyone who wants to upgrade the pq25 steering to 'any generation of MULTIFUNCTION steering wheel'. Yuppie...!!!

The three wires that I had previously connected to the trip stem are cut off and insulated, I can send a video of how this steering wheel works on my car.

Re: Polo 6r 2010 Building a small rocket.
You were doing some backlighting tricks for those buttons you showed earlier... it's not a good idea... without a doubt, it's better to find a BCM (High or Max) manufactured from 2015/6 onwards and install it in 0.5 seconds if it's a High version (e.g from Russia/India).
Try other, unmodified buttons. Many tests were done with different models (red/white backlighting, generation/veh model) and they all worked perfectly.

The buttons I have now haven't been touched or modified at all. Everything is original, just like it was on the steering wheel. The backlight works thanks to the emulator.

Madwarlock himself has no idea why this is happening. Haha
Re: Polo 6r 2010 Building a small rocket.
Have a BCM 7E0937090C — it’s lying in the cupboard and waiting for better times. My Polo is a basic Comfortline, and I added heated seats, a radio, the instrument cluster, and the steering wheel myself. I know that for a better BCM to work, a few additional things need to be installed.

Re: Polo 6r 2010 Building a small rocket.
It might be related to the type of buttons that should work with your current instrument cluster.

I don't even know how the buttons and that knurled button on the SK-impy work, but it's likely that your current MFA+ is expecting a type of signal that's never arriving... are the arrows on the buttons on the left side the ones that change the menus

Probably from this car and such a counter sticker.

Re: Polo 6r 2010 Building a small rocket.
That SW is widely known...
---
The video is unavailable, at least to me.
---
Note/joke, not related: It's possible that someone in my geografical area has committed some kind of crime defined in some regulation, and that could be the reason why the video isn't available in my area/to me.
It could be similar to the restrictions on viewing certain images from specific servers if you're a law-abiding citizen in the UK.
All guilty!!! ...without the rights, ... to a fair and individualized trial.
We won't be able to say that our lawyer screwed up.

Re: Polo 6r 2010 Budowanie małej rakiety.
Haha, in the UK everything is banned
. Are there many complications when trying to install the highest BCM? I’ll try fitting a different steering wheel and buttons as well, just to check where the problem is. If you want, I can send you the video privately by email or via another messenger.

Now this video should work
